Associate, Settlement Services - Remote

Overview

As an Associate in Settlement Services, you will be responsible for managing the closing process and ensuring a positive customer experience while working with various stakeholders.

In Short

• Communicate effectively with external stakeholders.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with objection handling skills.
• Schedule closings and arrange notaries.
• Prepare and balance HUD and CD with lenders.
• Track closing deadlines for timely completion.
• Review Title commitments and prepare closing packages.
• Understand tax proration and review tax statements.
• Review HOA and lien payoffs.
• Knowledge of disbursements and funding.
• Maintain a positive customer experience throughout the process.

Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in REO settlement or Originations process.
• Detailed knowledge of REO and settlement functions.
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
• Experience working with cross-functional, multi-cultural teams.
