Railway Method Engineer - Remote

Overview

The consultant will be responsible for various tasks related to railway methods and processes, contributing to the development and improvement of engineering practices.

In Short

• Creation of instruction sheets
• Monitoring and assisting workshop activities
• Updating times in detail part ranges
• Writing DO (modification and tooling adjustments)
• Analyzing and translating method modifications

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Initial experience in the railway sector in methods and/or process activities
• Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, Delmia, etc.)
• Knowledge of quality tools and continuous improvement tools
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (Assembly, Welding, Stamping)
• Proficiency in Excel and standard functions (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, pivot tables), VBA is a plus
• Basic project management knowledge
• Very good level in French and English
