Overview

The QMS Technical Support Specialist will provide technical support for quality processes, assist in QMS implementation and maintenance, and drive process improvements within the organization.

In Short

  • Address and resolve technical issues related to quality during production or inspection processes.
  • Support cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining QMS procedures and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant certifications.
  • Identify areas for improvement in technical quality processes and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
  • Participate in internal and external QMS audits, ensuring technical aspects meet regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Document audit findings and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and root causes of technical issues.
  • Prepare and present reports on technical quality performance to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years in quality assurance, technical support, or a related role within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with QMS standards like ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in quality analysis tools (e.g., FMEA, 8D, SPC).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • CAD CATIA & ou NX experience.
  • PLM knowledge.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Certifications in ISO Auditing, Six Sigma, or related quality disciplines.
