Grants & Research Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and persuasive Grant Writing & Research Manager to join our fundraising team. The primary focus of this role is identifying, researching, and securing grant funding from private foundations, corporations, and other philanthropic sources.

• Conduct thorough prospect research to identify new grant opportunities.
• Prepare, write, and submit high-quality letters of inquiry and grant proposals.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary data for proposals.
• Manage the full grants lifecycle and track deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records in the donor database/CRM.
• Cultivate relationships with foundation and corporate program officers.
• Perform in-depth prospect research on individual major donors.
• Draft personalized major gift proposals and stewardship reports.
• Assist in strategy development for major donor cultivation.
• Ensure compliance with application guidelines and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of professional grant writing experience in a nonprofit setting.
• Strong prospect research skills using online databases.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent analytical and research abilities.
• Highly organized with project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM databases.
• Commitment to the organization's mission and values.
• Alpha experience is preferred.
