Overview

The Director of Technology provides strategic leadership for Alpha USA’s technology ecosystem, ensuring platforms are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned to ministry impact.

In Short

• Own and execute the organization’s technology strategy in alignment with Alpha’s mission.
• Serve as the senior leader for all technology platforms, systems, and integrations.
• Lead, develop, and manage the IT & systems team.
• Provide strategic oversight for Salesforce as a key organizational platform.
• Ensure reliability, security, and performance of Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Partner with various departments to ensure data is accurate and usable.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
• Champion responsible use of AI and automation.
• Communicate effectively with executive leaders and stakeholders.
• Drive proactive technology decisions and planning.

Requirements

• Proven technology leader with experience in multi-platform environments.
• Familiarity with Salesforce for strategic direction.
• Strong people leadership experience.
• Success in partnering with executive leaders.
• Experience in SaaS environments and IT operations.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership.
• Nonprofit or mission-driven experience preferred.
• Strong communication and change-management skills.
• Ability to manage complex initiatives.
• High-ownership mindset.
