Overview

As a Client Operations Associate at Alpaca, you will be the first point of contact for clients and broker partners, assisting with service needs and operational requests in a fast-paced environment.

In Short

• Assist clients and broker partners with service needs and issues.
• Process operational requests as instructed by the brokerage team.
• Research and respond to client issues related to form submissions and transfers.
• Interact with internal groups to resolve client issues.
• Ensure accurate submission of new business paperwork.
• Maintain a positive and resilient demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Make independent decisions within general guidelines.
• Understand KYC and client onboarding processes.

Requirements

• Excited about Alpaca’s mission.
• 1-2 years of experience in the securities industry.
• FINRA Series 7 license required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Experience with FINRA, Federal, and SEC regulations.
• Ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
• Adaptability to changing business and regulatory environments.
• Enjoys challenges and taking ownership of responsibilities.
