Overview

This role utilizes analytical skills to create a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition.

In Short

  • Field position for the city of Richmond, Virginia and surrounding areas.
  • Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
  • Builds established relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals to create estimates of damages.
  • Processes a deep understanding of all policy types written by the company.
  • Negotiates settlements and makes settlement payments.
  • Documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limits.
  • Requires a 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred).
  • 2 or more years of experience (Preferred).
  • No supervisory duties.

Requirements

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred).
  • 2 or more years of experience (Preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Understanding of insurance claims processes.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance.
  • Proficient in estimating damages.
  • Ability to document activities accurately.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
