Overview

The Senior Consultant I is responsible for investigating, negotiating, and settling complex property damage and liability insurance claims while providing exceptional customer service.

In Short

  • Investigate and settle complex insurance claims.
  • Travel to loss sites for thorough analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, and video chat.
  • Negotiate settlements with customers and vendors.
  • Utilize tools for claim assessment and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records in claims systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development.
  • Must be able to travel and handle virtual claims across Texas.
  • Mandatory residency in Texas required.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience as an outside adjuster preferred.
  • Experience with claims over $25,000.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate and estimating software.
  • Strong critical thinking and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
  • Ability to carry a 50-pound ladder.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks for licensing.
  • Must complete 2 weeks of training in Wheeling, IL.
