Overview

The Call Center / Patient Access Representative will facilitate optimal patient access and maximize the accuracy of data entry for scheduling and clinical messaging, providing exceptional customer service to patients.

In Short

  • Answer telephone promptly and professionally.
  • Obtain and enter accurate demographic information.
  • Schedule appointments and provide instructions to callers.
  • Direct patients on using the intake system for New Patient forms.
  • Remind callers of cancellation/no-show policy.
  • Provide patient-focused service and information.
  • Know when to escalate calls to higher authorities.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service or clinical experience.
  • High School diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred.
  • Reliable and trustworthy with confidential information.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English and/or Spanish.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
