Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for month-end close, audit requests, and other ad hoc projects while contributing to the finance and accounting department of a growing company.

In Short

• Manage corporate credit card accounting and reconcile transactions.
• Prepare prepaid expense journal entries and maintain fixed assets module.
• Assist in monitoring monthly vendor expense accruals.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements.
• Support audit schedules and requests.
• Engage in various ad-hoc requests and special projects.
• Preferred CPA license or actively pursuing it.
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting.
• NetSuite experience preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Must comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Healthcare/SaaS experience preferred.
