In Short

• Apply official coding rules to accurately represent services provided by ENT practice providers.
• Provide coding support to Billing AR and Pre-Certification Teams.
• Maintain awareness of coding updates and advances coding knowledge.
• Comply with internal coding policies and procedures.
• Exhibit integrity and adhere to ethical coding practices.
• Ensure all operative notes are added to the chart prior to billing.
• Work closely with the Pre-Certification Team.
• Attend coding meetings and collaborate with vendors.

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years coding experience required.
• AAPC Certification required.
• ENT Practice experience preferred.
• Experience with NextGen preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
