Engineer – LOCA & Containment Analysis - Remote

Overview

As a contributing member of the LOCA, Containment & Stability Analysis Team, you will perform plant thermal-hydraulic safety analysis with two-phase thermal hydraulic analysis techniques, supporting reload and design applications for Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) plants worldwide.

• Perform plant thermal hydraulic evaluations and analyses.
• Support reload analyses, methods implementation, and safety analysis.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Minimum 1 year experience in T-H Nuclear Plant Safety Analysis.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline required.
• Remote candidates will be considered.

Requirements

• Experience in ECCS LOCA, Containment, HELB, and related analyses.
• M.S. Degree in Nuclear Engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of reactor licensing requirements.
• Experience with BWR technology and T-H systems codes.
• Programming skills in C#, FORTRAN, or PYTHON.
• Detail-oriented and accountable.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Proven track record of overcoming obstacles.
• Ability to achieve stretch targets.
