Overview

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Airbnb, you will be part of the Third-Party Booking team, focusing on delivering scalable and compliant web experiences that enhance the connection between guests and hosts.

In Short

• Deliver high-quality web features for both consumer and enterprise customers.
• Improve performance, resilience, and observability of web applications.
• Collaborate with Payments, Trust, and backend teams for secure integrations.
• Write clear design documents and implementation plans.
• Participate in code/design reviews and contribute to team documentation.
• Work closely with Product and Design teams to scope requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience architecting frontend systems and cross-team integrations.
• Proficiency in building large web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (e.g., React, GraphQL).
• Fluency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
• Strong communication skills and product mindset.

Benefits

• Base pay range of $190,000 - $220,000 USD/year.
