NOC Engineer (Level 2 - Mobile/Telco) - Remote

Overview

As a Level 2 NOC Engineer at Airalo, you will handle escalations that require deeper technical expertise, blending advanced troubleshooting and OSS/automation skills to strengthen service reliability.

In Short

• Serve as the primary escalation point for the NOC Level 1 team.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and service restoration activities.
• Operate the telco platform for eSIM manufacturing and provisioning.
• Develop automation and operational scripts.
• Collaborate with engineering and third-party vendors.
• Document solutions and update the NOC knowledge base.
• Provide technical guidance to Level 1 engineers.
• Participate in on-call rotation for high-priority incidents.
• Assist in identifying recurring issues and support Root Cause Analysis.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a NOC Engineer or in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of telecom and network principles.
• Familiarity with API integrations and monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Ability to interpret technical logs and system outputs.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills for coordination.
