In Short

• Join a cross-functional team working with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Improve Veterans’ digital experience through an integrated patient portal.
• Build accessible, performant, and scalable frontend and backend features.
• Develop user-facing features using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Write and maintain automated test coverage for all delivered features.
• Integrate with VA APIs and backend services.
• Contribute to full-stack development across healthcare features.
• Monitor and triage application performance issues.
• Participate in pair programming and peer reviews.
• Uphold Zero Trust security principles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• 3+ years of recent experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with secure development best practices.
• Experience with measurement and monitoring tools.
