Project Manager - Microsoft Cloud Projects & Managed Services - Remote

Overview

Agile IT is a Microsoft-specialized firm serving the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and other regulated industries. We help defense contractors achieve and maintain CMMC compliance by providing them with secure cloud environments and providing ongoing compliance and IT management services.

As one of approximately 70 AOS-G partners in the United States and a Tier-1 Direct Microsoft CSP, we hold unique authority to deliver and license Microsoft 365 GCC High and Azure Government environments for defense contractors handling Controlled Unclassified Information. We hold numerous Microsoft Solutions Partner designations and operate exclusively within regulated industries; we do not dilute our expertise across unrelated verticals or commodity IT engagements.

In Short

• Manage end-to-end delivery of client engagements across professional and managed services.
• Oversee onboarding projects for new managed service clients.
• Handle Microsoft 365 and Azure migrations, compliance remediation engagements.
• Maintain communication with clients and internal teams throughout project lifecycle.
• Document project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
• Facilitate post-project reviews for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate internal resources across engineering and compliance teams.
• Utilize project management tools for tracking and reporting.
• Report to the Service Delivery Manager for ongoing process improvement.
• Work in a lean, remote-first environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience with complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
• Background in IT consulting or managed services environments.
• Experience managing client onboarding or implementation projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and ambiguity.
• Familiarity with project management platforms like AutoTask or Moovila.
• Active PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
• Aware of CMMC, NIST 800-171, M365 GCC High, or Azure Government.
• Experience with DoD contractors or in the Defense Industrial Base.
• Familiarity with EOS or similar operational frameworks.
