Software Developer - Remote

Overview

Agile Defense is seeking a Software Developer to contribute to the Nation's Intelligence community by maintaining existing applications and designing future solutions.

In Short

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain web-based applications.
• Work on Web API REST endpoints.
• Utilize Docker containers and GIT repositories.
• Maintain Java coding standards.
• Support application development within the team.
• Troubleshoot application deployment issues.
• Participate in development meetings.
• Conduct development tests and coordinate with testers.
• Gather information on program functionality from users.
• Work on minor bug fixes and monitor system performance.

Requirements

• Active DoD - Top Secret SCI clearance.
• DoD IAT Level II certification required.
• Experience in software development and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Java and web technologies.
• Knowledge of secure coding standards and government regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Docker and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with GIT repositories.
• Willingness to learn and improve coding skills.
