Captives Accountant - Remote

Overview

DOXA is seeking a highly motivated Captives Accountant to join our finance department, responsible for various accounting functions in the insurance business.

In Short

• Prepare financial statements under local GAAP.
• Reconcile and post insurance transitions.
• Track and post claim activity.
• Valuate Investment portfolio.
• Assist in annual audits for clients.
• Assist in regulatory filings.
• Maintain client contact as needed.
• Assist in preparing materials for board meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualified or part qualified.
• 5 years of captive insurance or insurance accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrates organizational and time management skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
