Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic at Saputo is responsible for the reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing and packaging equipment.

• Responsible for maintenance of manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Works on a night shift schedule (7pm - 7am).

Requirements

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Effective communication skills for computer-based work orders.
• Hands-on experience in food industry or high-speed packaging.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Sanitary stainless steel welding experience is a plus.
• Experience with electrical and PLC troubleshooting preferred.
• 4th class power engineering certification or steam boiler experience is an asset.
• Refrigeration and air handling systems experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow company policies and safety standards.
