In Short

• Provide comprehensive legal support ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Advise on legal and regulatory issues affecting the organization.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures.
• Manage license applications and regulatory filings.
• Oversee federally regulated reporting and filings.
• Manage the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request process.
• Promote a culture of integrity and professionalism.
• 5 years of experience in a legal or regulatory role is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or active bar membership is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience with contract lifecycle management.
• Experience in policy development and risk identification.
• Familiarity with FOIA processes, ERISA, and CAA regulations.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Proactive in identifying risks and offering solutions.
• Ability to treat sensitive information confidentially.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel (10%-20%).
