In Short

• Manage and oversee Affirm's portfolio of litigation and pre-litigation matters across various domains.
• Develop and execute strategic litigation plans that align with company goals.
• Advise internal stakeholders on litigation risks and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare status reports, case summaries, and exposure assessments.
• Manage all aspects of discovery and draft pleadings and briefs as needed.
• Engage and manage outside counsel effectively.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited US law school and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience, preferably at a top-tier law firm or in-house.
• Proven ability to manage complex litigation independently.
• Strong knowledge of consumer finance laws.
• Excellent judgment, research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Collaborative team player with a business-oriented mindset.
