Principal HR Business Partner - Remote

Overview

The People team at Affinity plays a key role in guiding and cultivating our outstanding culture. We’re looking for a Principal HRBP role to support our Engineering, Design and Product managers and team members. This role is remote-first, but will require some travel.

In Short

• Be a coach, consultant, and champion of our people managers
• Identify opportunities to optimize strengths and capabilities
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in organizational development
• Guide and manage the merit and promotion process
• Champion L&D efforts to enhance training programs
• Oversee and report on people initiatives
• Partner with leadership to prioritize business needs
• Improve employee experience and engagement

Requirements

• 8-10 years of HR experience, 5+ years in HRBP capacity
• Experience in startup to medium-sized tech companies
• HR foundational knowledge including compensation and compliance
• Experience with hybrid and remote teams
• Skilled in influencing and relationship building
• Data-focused approach to employee engagement
• Ability to translate business priorities into HR programs
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Experience in change management initiatives
• Strategic thinker and creative problem solver
