K-12 Bid Coordinator (Proposal Specialist) - Remote

Overview

Affinity Group is seeking a dependable and detail orientated K-12 Bid Coordinator (Proposal Specialist) in the Midwest. This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in either Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Michigan, Dakotas, Indiana, Kentucky, or Ohio to be considered for the position.

In Short

• Coordinate and administer bid pricing and details for K-12, cruise, and government proposals.
• Create supporting documentation for review and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience in bidding and/or procurement, especially in the K-12 segment is preferred.
• Collaborate with sales associates and clients to develop effective bid strategies.
• Analyze bid specifications and prepare quotations aligned with submission guidelines.
• Maintain a tracking system to monitor bids and quotations.
• Ensure compliance with K-12 proposal requirements within strict deadlines.
• Manage document production including formatting and proofreading.
• Attend meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge.
• Work in a team-oriented environment to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years in an office or data entry role focused on document preparation.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up capabilities.
• Effective organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
