Overview

The Senior Vice President of Supplier Relations is primarily responsible for managing and negotiating Supplier programs, conflict resolution, overseeing and maintaining the reporting database, serving as an Affiliate advocate and developing and/or maintaining positive relationships with all existing and potential Suppliers in the U.S.

In Short

  • Manage and negotiate all Supplier programs and agreements.
  • Oversee and maintain reporting databases.
  • Lead Supplier Advisory Council and Product Committee.
  • Promote Affiliate achievement of Supplier incentives.
  • Coordinate growth of Supplier list based on committee direction.
  • Manage relationships with IESD Preferred Suppliers.
  • Monitor and analyze sales/earnings data and trends.
  • Participate in Supplier meetings and industry trade shows.
  • Identify growth areas and develop new business opportunities.
  • Ensure internal departments respond to Affiliate and Associate member feedback.

Requirements

  • Strong personal leadership and energy profile.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities and financial acumen.
  • Experience in general management with IESD distributors or Suppliers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in program negotiation and management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but work experience is prioritized.
  • Travel Required: 40-50%.
