Proposal Manager - Remote

Overview

AECOM is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead key proposals and presentations within the DoD proposal team, contributing to complex projects that aim to create a positive impact worldwide.

In Short

• Lead large, complex proposals from capture to interview stage.
• Participate in Go/No-Go decision-making and capture strategy development.
• Manage proposal schedules and compliance matrices.
• Conduct proposal kick-off meetings and storyboarding sessions.
• Write and edit proposal sections including executive summaries and management approaches.
• Ensure compliance on proposals and conduct reviews.
• Gather client feedback and analyze debriefs for continuous improvement.
• Oversee project filing and documentation.
• Contribute to training and mentoring on proposal processes.
• Participate in special projects related to knowledge management.

Requirements

• BA/BS + 8 years of relevant proposal experience.
• Experience with US Federal and/or DoD client sectors.
• Strong leadership and proposal writing skills.
• Familiarity with A/E industry and proposal best practices.
• Proficiency in desktop publishing and collaborative tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
• Resourceful problem solver with discretion in sensitive matters.
