Overview

The Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) / Transaction Advisor will support the Chief of Party in managing a multi-disciplinary team and provide leadership and technical direction for the USAID-funded Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGI).

In Short

  • Support project leadership and management for infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee technical delivery related to transaction advisory support.
  • Ensure environmental compliance and due diligence.
  • Manage project subcontractors and compliance.
  • Lead the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning program.
  • Provide quality assurance for project deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Communicate with USAID personnel effectively.
  • Support resource management for project needs.
  • Serve as acting COP as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, or related field.
  • 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience managing engineering or construction projects.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • Experience with USAID funded programs.
  • Strong background in quality assurance processes.
  • Proven experience in international development projects.
  • Master’s degree in Finance or related field preferred.
