Overview

The Aviation Engineer will support the design and delivery of airport infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, sustainability, and efficiency in aviation.

In Short

  • Design and support airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, and boarding bridges.
  • Perform civil infrastructure evaluation and construction support for airport clients.
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline design teams.
  • Prepare engineering design reports and construction plans.
  • Implement project Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
  • Support proposal preparation for aviation projects.
  • Work on Civil and Military airport projects.
  • Utilize knowledge of aviation standards and civil engineering practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexible hybrid working model available.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Membership or working towards membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
  • Experience in civil design and construction support in an airport environment.
  • Knowledge of civil aviation standards (ICAO, EASA, etc.).
  • Understanding of drainage design and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with NEC3/4 contracts.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project is a plus.
