Requirements

  • MSN and DNP (or MSN and PhD in nursing) degrees required.
  • 1-2 years of online teaching experience at the graduate level.
  • Active unencumbered compact RN nursing license required.
  • FNP certification is mandatory.
  • Clinical experience as FNP is required.
  • Strong communication and instructional skills are essential.
  • Willingness to obtain Illinois nursing license if not already held.
  • Subject matter expertise in the course of instruction.
  • Online teaching experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and non-traditional environment.
