Overview

The Senior Instructional Designer will shape the future of help and training at Addepar, creating a seamless onboarding experience and defining instructional strategies for complex learning projects.

In Short

Define instructional strategy and design comprehensive learning paths.
Develop understanding of user learning needs and onboarding challenges.
Identify innovative solutions for best-in-class learning experiences.
Act as instructional design liaison for cross-functional teams.
Facilitate productive working sessions and content reviews.
Mentor technical writers on best practices in instructional design.
Refine guidelines for instructional design workflows.
Analyze user engagement to inform instructional strategy.
Implement improvements for learning content organization.
Champion the evolution of self-guided learning experiences.

Requirements

4+ years of instructional design experience.
Portfolio showcasing strategic approach to learning experiences.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Proficient with e-learning authoring tools and LMS.
Familiar with Figma, Zendesk, Confluence, and Jira.
Experience in customer support is a plus.
Able to work independently across time zones.
High emotional intelligence and collaboration skills.
