Overview

The Database Engineer is responsible for expanding and optimizing data and data pipeline architecture, supporting software developers, database architects, and data analysts to ensure optimal data delivery architecture.

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
• Identify and implement internal process improvements.
• Build infrastructure for optimal data extraction and loading.
• Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues.
• Ensure uptime of critical infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain database specifications.

• Implement security controls and verify existing controls.
• Create data tools for analytics and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Seven years of experience in data development and management.
