Overview

Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a leader for an Oracle engineering team responsible for a diverse portfolio of Database technologies that power our online games.

In Short

Lead an Oracle engineering team focused on database technologies.
Manage the health and performance of persistent database technologies.
Collaborate with development teams on architecture and health of environments.
Mentor and develop team members.
Identify opportunities for innovation in database technologies.
Oversee technical projects aligning with business goals.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in information technology.
5+ years of experience leading tech teams.
Strong foundation in relational and non-relational database theory.
Experience with Oracle offerings and cloud database services.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to coach and develop team members.
Focus on uptime and performance of services.
Experience resolving conflicts across teams.
Degree in a technology-related discipline is a plus.
Passion for improving Blizzard games.
