QA Analyst - Remote

Overview

The QA Analyst will ensure that all applications under test meet organizational standards and end-user requirements by thoroughly testing software and documenting any issues to ensure resolution.

In Short

• Conduct online, batch, and data verification testing.
• Utilize various testing techniques including regression and positive/negative testing.
• Analyze requirements to design testing strategies.
• Work with stakeholders to develop test plans and conditions.
• Document test results and create defect reports.
• Coordinate test activities for assigned projects.
• Apply knowledge of payment card industry compliance.
• Use automated testing tools and execute manual tests.
• Act as a point of contact for client projects regarding test activities.
• Follow defects through to resolution and closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of relational databases and the bankcard industry.
• Experience with IBM Rational tools.
• Working towards ISTQB Certification is preferred.
• Ability to build productive working relationships.
• Experience in testing methodologies and application standards.
• Proficient in software tools for quality management.
• Ability to work on moderate scope problems.
• Effective communication skills.
