Overview

As a Data Engineer III at Accolade, you will be a key technical leader on our enterprise data platform team, architecting, designing, and implementing cutting-edge cloud-native, service-oriented data solutions with minimal oversight.

In Short

  • Architect, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data pipelines.
  • Design and evolve our Enterprise Data Warehouse structure.
  • Drive the implementation of complex data integration solutions.
  • Develop sophisticated data processing frameworks using Python and PySpark.
  • Implement and optimize complex Databricks notebooks and jobs.
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Implement and enforce advanced data quality control mechanisms.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies.
  • Lead and mentor development team members.
  • Participate in sprint planning and provide technical leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python.
  • Advanced expertise with Databricks platform.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale data warehousing solutions.
  • Expert-level knowledge of SQL.
  • Deep expertise with AWS data services.
  • Extensive experience with modern data processing frameworks.
  • Strong expertise in data modeling concepts.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
