Virtual Physical Therapist - Remote

Overview

ACCEL Schools is seeking highly qualified Virtual Physical Therapists for our upcoming 2025-2026 school year! This is a virtual position with limited in-office work required throughout the year.

In Short

• Provide high-quality online physical therapy services to students according to the student’s IEPs
• Conduct PT evaluations and reevaluations as determined by the Special Education department
• Consult with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom participation
• Development, monitor, and report on goals; design interventions utilizing research-based best practices
• Provide clear clinical documentation that supports progress and growth of students
• Participate in IEP meetings and other meetings as needed
• Complete all paperwork for the District and the State in a timely manner
• Model professionalism and maintain confidentiality
• Continually develop professional growth in areas related to PT
• Follow all school policies and procedures

Requirements

• Professional Physical Therapist License and willingness to obtain for several states
• Proficiency with computers and online documentation skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Reliable and trustworthy work ethic
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations
• Demonstrated leadership and management ability
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
