Director of Finance - Remote

Overview

The Director of Finance for the ACCEL Schools business segment is responsible for the business analysis and financial support of a fast-growing portfolio of K-12 charter schools, ensuring financial targets are met and providing strategic advice to business leaders.

In Short

• Ensure financial targets are met by developing operational strategies.
• Lead and mentor a team of FP&A Partners.
• Track performance measurement including KPIs and financial statement analysis.
• Design and oversee operational and financial models.
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of financial KPIs.
• Drive process improvements for business segment planning.
• Act as a key contact for various departments.
• Perform additional tasks and projects as required.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in finance including modeling and decision support.
• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar.
• MBA or MS in Business Analytics preferred.
• Leadership experience in a multi-unit environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills with business leaders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in converting complex data into meaningful insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other applications.
• Experience with financial software like Workday Adaptive Insight preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
