Asset Liability Management Analyst (ALM) - Remote

Overview

The Analyst – Asset and Liability Management will support the Advisory Services team and report to the Senior Manager of Advisory Services. This position contributes to the delivery of ALM and loan/deposit pricing analyses for community financial institutions by preparing modeling outputs, assisting in the creation of client deliverables, and participating in internal and external discussions.

In Short

• Assist in the preparation of ALM deliverables, core deposit studies, prepayment analyses, and other supporting materials.
• Work with senior analysts and consultants to gather, clean, and analyze data related to interest rate risk, liquidity, and pricing strategies.
• Help draft client reports including charts, tables, and narrative summaries under guidance from senior team members.
• Join client calls and internal meetings to gain exposure to advisory discussions and modeling interpretations.
• Contribute to documentation efforts and assist in standardization and process improvement.
• Conduct research on market trends and regulatory developments impacting advisory services.
• Support implementation of software tools for modeling and analysis.
• Assist with internal tools, dashboards, or documentation projects as needed.
• Stay informed on industry updates and apply them to advisory work as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in banking, consulting or financial analytics, preferably with exposure to ALM, interest rate risk and liquidity risk.
• Interest in asset and liability management, balance sheet strategy, or financial modeling.
• Familiarity with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools; experience with data tools is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with an eagerness to learn and contribute to team goals.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with remote teams.
