Quality Assurance Manager (m/f/d) - App & Web - Remote

Overview

We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate Quality Assurance Manager (m/f/d) to become part of our App & Web Team at ABOUT YOU onsite in Hamburg or Berlin. Our App & Web Team constantly improves the App, Mobile Website and Desktop Website. These big-scale products are each visited by several million people every month. The team’s focus is to provide the most inspiring, convenient, intuitive, and easy-to-use shopping experience for our customers. They constantly challenge themselves to raise the bar of what is “state of the art” in customer-facing products.

In Short

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies focused on manual testing processes
• Perform high-quality manual and automated testing for the ABOUT YOU Web Shop covering the whole customer journey
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of ABOUT YOU's long-term automated testing strategy
• Manage and prioritise bug reports and tickets from internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee the complete bug lifecycle, including reporting, reproducing, and resolving bugs
• Collaborate with product management, development teams, and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria
• Leverage experience in debugging and reading JavaScript to assist in issue resolution
• Ensure high-quality product by proactively suggesting UX improvements

Requirements

• 3 years experience in quality assurance, testing and debugging of frontend applications (JavaScript)
• Experienced in manual testing (explorative and destructive) and automated testing (e.g., with cypress.io)
• Familiar with process/ticketing tools such as Jira & Confluence
• Very good experience with testing tools, such as TestRail
• Able to grasp complex technical systems quickly
• Focus on details while keeping business value in mind
• Experienced with agile methodologies and quality mindset in an agile environment
• Very good communication skills and ability to handle different stakeholders
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
