Assistant Controller - Remote

Overview

The Assistant Controller will oversee and manage all aspects of our accounting operations, ensuring the integrity of financial systems and compliance with accounting standards.

In Short

• Lead and manage accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and review financial statements monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Develop internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in multifamily and high-growth environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
