Senior Engineering Manager - Cloud Infrastructure, Platform and Infrastructure - Remote

Overview

As the Senior Manager of Cloud Infrastructure, you will be responsible for delivery of a key part of the Platform and Infrastructure roadmap. Our mission in Platform & Infrastructure (PI) is to enable the rest of engineering by providing an easy-to-use and self-service cloud platform upon which all Abnormal applications are built.

In Short

• Own the execution success of the quarterly roadmap for Cloud Infrastructure teams.
• Deliver 30+ new Abnormal cloud environments.
• Evolve the Abnormal to a cell based AWS cloud architecture.
• Drive processes to enable the team to deliver on projects.
• Manage the quarterly roadmap updates and project time estimates.
• Identify risks on project delivery and escalate as needed.
• Hire, mentor, and grow engineers on the team.
• Provide continuous feedback to team members.
• Set high standards for project execution.
• Work with internal engineers to determine the Infrastructure roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a hands-on engineer.
• 4+ years of managing cloud infra, backend or platform teams.
• Customer obsessed with a focus on internal collaboration.
• Ability to attract and recruit senior engineers.
• High standards for project execution.
