Part-time Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

Abilitie is seeking a US-based staff accountant to join our expanding, remote accounting department. We’re looking for an adaptable, detail-oriented and organized professional who is experienced with general accounting principles and functionality. This is a chance to grow your accounting and ad hoc skills within our fast-based startup environment. The ideal candidate is proficient with QuickBooks and Excel. This role reports to our Head of Accounting.

In Short

• Part-time position, 10-15 hours per week

• Maintain communication with vendors and regulatory agencies
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis
• Perform billing and accounts payable/receivable duties

Requirements

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
• Proficiency with QuickBooks
• Experience with accounting systems automation is a plus
• Ideally have or pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting
• 2+ years experience as a staff accountant
