As a Healthcare Documentation Specialist at Abby Care, you will empower underserved families to access care by managing documentation processes and providing support through effective communication.

In Short

• Full-time remote position working Monday to Friday, 9:00AM - 5:00PM EST.
• Collect and review documentation from caregivers and families.
• Conduct outbound calls and respond to inquiries, guiding families through the documentation process.
• Manage high volume of daily phone interactions (60–70 calls).
• Ensure documentation is compliant with state regulations and Medicaid/Medicare requirements.
• Communicate effectively with families via phone, text, and email.
• Maintain organized records and send reminders for documentation expirations.
• Collaborate with onboarding and family support teams.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service, administrative support, or healthcare roles.
• Ability to manage high-volume calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with CRM and document management tools.
• A compassionate and patient approach when supporting families.
• Familiarity with healthcare documentation and Medicaid processes is a plus.
