Overview

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Immunology will provide scientific and technical leadership, ensuring professional relationships with thought leaders and external experts while supporting AbbVie’s clinical initiatives.

In Short

• Field-based role covering Northern England and Scotland.
• Reporting to MSL Manager, Immunology.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of therapy area and AbbVie products.
• Deliver presentations on clinical and scientific topics.
• Organize and participate in external education and training events.
• Facilitate AbbVie’s clinical trial programs and research activities.
• Identify and develop new KOLs and maintain relationships.
• Attend scientific congresses to interact with KOLs.
• Support the business unit by attending national leadership meetings.
• Organize clinical and scientific education for staff.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (e.g. PharmD., MD, PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline preferred.
• Experience in Medical Affairs within a Pharmaceutical company.
• Ability to learn about new subject areas and environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong commitment to compliance and scientific integrity.
