Overview

The Clinical Data Strategy & Operations Program Lead II at AbbVie is responsible for ensuring successful delivery against program and study-level accountabilities assigned to Data and Statistical Sciences, while leading cross-functional teams and optimizing program execution.

In Short

• Lead the DSS Study Team for assigned programs and studies.
• Act as the single point of contact for operational leads from DSS.
• Engage and connect global functional teams at the study level.
• Utilize operational analytics and project management tools for program execution.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and quality standards.
• Participate in oversight of vendors and provide operational feedback.
• Coach and mentor team members in a matrix environment.
• Lead innovation and process improvement initiatives.
• Conduct study execution “lessons learned” across functions.
• May supervise contract resources and employees indirectly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in pharma/clinical research/data management.
• In-depth understanding of clinical trial processes.
• Ability to influence others without direct authority.
• Effective communication and analytical skills.
• PMP Certification or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt desired.
