Overview

A Square Group (ASG) is seeking a highly accomplished and results-oriented professional to join our team as the Director of Software Procurement. This role will be instrumental in shaping ASG’s growth trajectory, building a procurement framework that delivers measurable savings year-over-year for our clients.

In Short

• Lead all vendor negotiations to achieve substantial cost savings.
• Transition ASG to a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) model.
• Implement strategies to centralize the procurement process.
• Conduct annual cost-benefit analyses to showcase achievements.
• Advance procurement processes through automation in software asset management.
• Explore emerging technologies like AI and machine learning.
• Align procurement efforts with organizational goals.
• Provide data-driven reports on projected cost savings.
• Establish credibility with vendor and customer leadership.
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration or CPSM.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software procurement.
• Proven track record in managing complex procurement negotiations.
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of government agencies and compliance.
• Proficiency in software asset management tools.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data and develop strategies.
• Ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Slack is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust clearance.
