FP&A Expert - APAC - Remote

Overview

The FP&A Expert is responsible for performing the day-to-day transactional activities within Financial Planning & Analysis, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, business-oriented services. This role focuses on financial planning and analysis activities to support effective decision-making and drive business performance.

In Short

• Prepare budgets and forecasts for the company’s organizational units.
• Support the Finance Business Partner and Commercial Team in analyzing deviations from budget and forecast.
• Develop financial models and business cases for investments and commercial opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth profitability analyses across business units and products.
• Create and present management reports focused on commercial performance.
• Monitor cost development and support budget holders in managing financial responsibilities.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal control requirements and corporate policies.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in local and international projects aimed at improving financial processes.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Economics or Finance.
• 10+ years of experience in FP&A or relevant fields.
• Excellent communication skills with strong intercultural understanding.
• Solid experience in financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Strong commercial finance skills and experience with business cases.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiar with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
• Exposure to planning and forecasting tools like Anaplan.
• Understanding of digitalization trends and data security principles.
