Acute Registered Nurse - RN - Remote

Overview

The Acute Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized patient care in a hospital setting, focusing on kidney disease management and dialysis treatments.

In Short

• 1:1 patient care in a hospital environment.
• Work 3 or 4 shifts per week starting at 7 or 7:30 AM.
• Participate in clinical decision-making and quality improvement activities.
• Document patient data and treatment plans accurately.
• Administer medications and coordinate care with healthcare teams.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding renal care.
• May require travel between assigned facilities.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Supervise Patient Care Technicians and LPNs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure.
• Minimum 9 months experience as an RN preferred.
• 6 months nephrology experience required.
• Successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Ability to meet all conditions of employment.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education.
