Overview

The Senior Technical Writer is a key player in our Knowledge Management team, responsible for creating, editing, and publishing knowledge base articles, API documentation, and other support content.

In Short

• Act as a role model for technical writers and UX Content Design team members.
• Create API documentation for engineers and non-engineering users.
• Run-test API commands and troubleshoot independently.
• Edit API call descriptions and examples for user experience.
• Write clear knowledge base articles simplifying complex information.
• Review and edit draft articles for quality and style adherence.
• Publish articles using web-based content management systems.
• Audit and update existing articles for accuracy.
• Collaborate with teams to identify content needs.
• Analyze content performance metrics for improvement strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in technical writing, focusing on knowledge base content.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in content management systems.
• Understanding of API documentation best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
