Head of Finance - Remote

Overview

The Head of Finance will lead the finance department, ensuring compliance and optimizing financial processes while managing a team and preparing financial analyses. The role is flexible with up to 100% remote work possible.

In Short

• Salary: €80,000–100,000 gross per year, with willingness to pay above this range
• Up to 100% REMOTE possible (Germany or Austria, with regular meetings at our offices in Frankfurt and Lindau on Lake Constance)
• Stock options
• Leading the finance department, including managing and developing team members
• Ensuring compliance, optimizing, and further developing all financial processes
• Preparing liquidity planning and other financial analyses
• Acting as the primary contact for tax advisors across three countries (Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein)
• Conducting due diligence and other valuation activities within M&A projects
• Strong academic and professional background in finance required
• Experience in a leadership role within a fast-growing environment is advantageous

Requirements

• Strong academic and professional background in finance
• Initial experience in a leadership role within a fast-growing environment, ideally in B2B SaaS, FinTech, or a regulated financial company
• Experience with or in a stock exchange or MTF is a plus
• Expertise in financial modeling and financial markets is essential
• Strong analytical and strategic skills, with great attention to detail
• Conceptual skills to support the company’s further development
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high energy and a hands-on approach
• Excellent proficiency in English and German
