Content Designer - Remote

Overview

As a Content Designer at 1Password, you’ll contribute to improving clarity, structure, and usability across complex product experiences.

In Short

• Lead UX writing, information architecture, and content structure work.
• Drive content design efforts that clarify workflows and interactions.
• Collaborate with product designers to create wireframes and prototypes.
• Write clear, inclusive, and accessible UX copy.
• Identify opportunities to improve clarity and content structure.
• Apply UX principles to ensure users receive the right information.
• Work within the Knox design system.
• Participate in discovery with research and product teams.
• Share work regularly in critiques and reviews.
• Communicate progress clearly and proactively.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in content design or UX writing.
• Foundation in UX writing, content strategy, and information architecture.
• Comfort collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to use customer research to inform content decisions.
• Strong execution skills and detail orientation.
• Growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning.
• Familiarity with inclusive design and accessibility best practices.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
