Overview

As a Content Designer at 1Password, you’ll contribute to improving clarity, structure, and usability across complex product experiences. This is a growth-oriented role for a content designer who is ready to deepen their craft and take increasing ownership of problem spaces with support.

• Lead UX writing, information architecture, and content structure work within your product area.
• Drive content design efforts that clarify workflows and interactions across in-product experiences.
• Collaborate with product designers to create lo-fi wireframes and content prototypes.
• Write clear, inclusive, and accessible UX copy.
• Identify opportunities to improve clarity and content structure.
• Apply UX principles to ensure users receive the right information.
• Work within the Knox design system.
• Participate in discovery with research and product teams.
• Share work regularly in critiques and incorporate feedback.
• Communicate progress clearly and proactively.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or information architecture.
• A solid foundation in UX writing and content strategy principles.
• Comfort collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to use customer research and data to inform content decisions.
• Strong execution skills balancing quality and timelines.
• A growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning.
• Familiarity with inclusive design and accessibility best practices.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
